The Flight of the Angel is one of Basilicata's most important tourist attractions, a steel cable suspended between the peaks of two villages, Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa, in the Lucanian Dolomites. The cable allows visitors to hook themselves in using a special harness and offers an innovative way to enjoy the natural environment, responding to a new demand and a new way of understanding leisure and recreation, aimed at experiencing new things and seeking new thrills. An adventure in contact with nature and a unique landscape, discovering the true soul of the area.

Visitors can experience the thrill of flight for a few minutes and let themselves glide into a fantastic adventure. A special feature of the attraction is the double flight line, which are different from each other, at heights of 118 and 130 metres respectively.

The first, called San Martino, starts from Pietrapertosa (starting altitude 1020 metres) and arrives in Castelmezzano (arrival altitude 859 metres) after covering 1415 metres and reaching a maximum speed of 110 km/h.

The Peschiere line, on the other hand, allows you to launch from Castelmezzano (starting altitude 1019 metres) and arrive in Pietrapertosa (arrival altitude 888 metres), reaching 120 km/h over a distance of 1452 metres.
