Petra Holiday Home is a holiday home located in the historic centre of Pietrapertosa, the highest village in Basilicata and one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, entirely surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Lucanian Dolomites.

The holiday home retains the original appearance of the houses in Pietrapertosa, built with exposed stone on the exterior and interior, which gives an immediate feeling of contact with the stone, the dominant element of this place nestled on the rocky slopes of the Lucanian Dolomites.

House layout and amenities

The holiday home has a surface area of approximately 60 m² and consists of a living room with a sofa, table, chairs and fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom complete with all amenities: shower, whirlpool bath with chromotherapy and accessories.
The materials used in the house come from old buildings: oak wood, Gorgoglione stone and handmade terracotta bricks. The floors and wall coverings are also made from high-quality materials.

For sustainability and comfort, the rooms feature wooden window frames with double glazing, a condensing boiler and LED light bulbs. The location of the house provides a cool and comfortable environment during the hottest periods, so there is no need for air conditioning systems, which would be superfluous. The great attention paid to sustainability at Petra Holiday Home is attested by the Legambiente Turismo sustainability certification, acquired in 2023.
