For an autumn to savor and experience intensely, Pietrapertosa has created the "Sapori d'Autunno" (Autumn Flavours) event, held every year during the All Saints' Day long weekend. The typical fruits of the autumn season enrich the traditional Lucanian dishes, served during the event along the streets of the village.
It's an opportunity to discover the skills and creativity of local artists and savor and learn about the products of local farms, strolling along the streets and alleys of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Food and wine stands and walks, educational workshops, falconry, music, and roasted chestnuts: two days dedicated to authenticity and the rediscovery of traditions and culture.
The climate allows you to admire the pristine nature silently slipping into the torpor of the cold seasons. The leaves begin their dance toward the earth, which welcomes them and gives them new life, covered on the blanket of the world.
The Gallipoli Cognato Regional Park, which surrounds the village, is tinged with crimson and orange, the bright green giving way to the deep, wise green.
In Pietrapertosa, everything is a spectacle that leaves you spellbound.
